Best Christmas yet!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I know we did. Price has more presents then we know what to do with. Next year we are going to have to talk about setting a limit....

We started Christmas Friday night and had a family get together every single night thru Christmas. Price is now a master present opener. He loved opening presents... he had to make sure every single peice of paper was off the present. When he woke up Christmas Morning my mom, step-dad, dad and step-mom were all there so instead of getting excited about his presents, I think he was more excited about everyone there. I didn't get any pictures of him on Christmas Morning because Santa gave me a digital Camcorder so I videoed everything but here are a few pictures of our other gatherings.

Christmas is always a time to realize how truley blessed we are. We had a wonderful time celebrating Jesus' Birthday and even though the presents were very nice, It's important to remember the real reason for the season!!

Update & Price's Christmas Program

Thanks to everyone for their support and most of all your prayers this past weekend. Things are going very well. I have had no new bleeding and so now I just have to be patient and wait to see how things go at my next ultrasound, which is the 27th. Thanks to all who prayed, emailed, called, visited and brought us dinner and magazines! :) You guys are so wonderful!!

And Price's Christmas program at Preschool was tonight. I had an idea that they would be singing jingle bells because everytime I sang the "Laughing all the way" part, he would say "Ho ho ho". Well, I was totally correct!! They actually were the opening number for the 4 year old class and they sang Jingle Bells and rang the bells. He didn't sing, except the "ho ho ho" part but he danced at the very end. I wished I had videoed that but I wasn't prepared!! I couldn't believe he stayed on the stage the entire time but I was very proud! I sat in the wrong spot to get a good picture but my mom took pictures too so hopefully she got some better ones! I am sharing the pics I did get even though they aren't very clear!!
WOW, his first Christmas Program...........the milestones just keep on comin'.........

Prayers, Please!!

To all the prayer warriors out there: Please keep me and this baby in your prayers for the next couple of days!!
Yesterday I was at the mall about to take Price to get pictures made with Santa, and I started bleeding badly!! My doctor was in surgery so I had to see an ER doctor. Then this morning I went back and saw Dr. Smithson. They did an ultrasound and the baby still has a strong heartbeat but it looks like part of my placenta is torn. I am on bedrest thru the weekend and they put me on a strong antibiotic so that I don't get an infection. I trust in the Lord and know that he has us in his hands! Please just pray that it is his will that this baby be okay and pray for my strength in dealing with this situation and not being able to do for Price like I am used to. I truly believe in the power of prayer!! Thank you all in advance!!

Tis the Season...

We are all ready for Christmas, if you don't account for the many presents still needing to be purchased. Price seems to enjoy our trees being lit up. If the lights aren't on he will point and grunt until I plug them in. We put 2 up this year. Our regular one and then I did a blue one for Price. He has also done pretty good with not bothering the ornaments. Here are a few pictures I took of him in one of his many Christmas outfits....I went a little overboard this year, but I guess that is easy to do. There are so few cute outfits for boys that anytime I saw a cute outfit I just couldn't pass it up. I bought this one for his Christmas Program at Preschool. Yes, I did just say Christmas Program. You might ask what an almost 17 month old might do in a Christmas Program....well, that is a good question. His teachers said he will be singing......I interested to see how this works out.

Busy, Busy....

This weekend some of my friends from Florence came into town for the Lights Before Christmas at the zoo and invited us to join them. This was the first time Price had met their little ones so we were excited to get everyone together.

I also went to the Holiday Market Thursday and Saturday and got some Christmas shopping finished. Then on Sunday, Stephanie, Suzanne & I threw Paige a Christmas shower at my house. We had a great turn out and it was so nice seeing so many old friends.

Josh's extended family's Chrsitmas Party was also Sunday. Of course I didn't make it to the party but Josh took Price and said he was scared to death of Santa. I guess that makes taking his pictures at the mall all that much more fun to look forward too.

Well, the weekend flew by and I am glad to be relaxing today with nothing much to do this week. Next weekend starts the Christmas Pagent at our Church. Josh will be working that all weekend and hopefully on Sunday I will get to enjoy the show. I can't wait until Price is old enough to be in it!! :)

First Doctors Visit

I went to the doctor yesterday and had an ultrasound done and everything looks good. The only small dissapointment was that due to my 37 day cycles (Yes, I said 37!) my due date is actually pushed back to the 18th of July instead of the 7th. That means this baby will be born closer to Price's birthday. I was hoping to have a little distance between the birthdays but I guess what's meant to be will be........I just hope I am not miserable for Price's 2nd birthday party.
And on Thanksgiving day the pregnancy sickness began......and it hasn't stopped. Some people love being pregnant...........I am not SOME PEOPLE!!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I know I had so much to be thankful for (even in the midst of my throwing up.........I am still thankful!)!

Exciting News!!

That's right!! Price is going to be a Big Brother!! My due date is July 7, 2008. Price's birthday is July 30th so we actually didn't even try in October so they wouldn't share the same birthday month but evidently October is our month! :)
We are excited!! GOD IS SO GOOD!
Please keep us in your prayers!

Baby Showers & Tennessee

It's been a while since I updated (Sorry Angie!!) because I have been busy trying to get a baby shower together for Kellie and then Sunday Price & I went to Tennessee to see Sandi's (my step-mom) family.

Kellie's shower turned out wonderfully. Everyone seemed to have a great time and she got a ton of PINK!!

We had a great time in Tennessee. We went with Sandi, her sister, Gaby, and her granddaughter, Kaylee. Kaylee is 2 and is talking up a storm. She can hold conversations with you and is smart as can be. It's hard to believe that in only 8 more months Price could be doing the same! We visited Sandi's mother, her grandmother and Aunt & Uncle. They all live in Maryville which is right outside of Knoxville. It was so beautiful up there. The drive was long but both the babes did impressively well!

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

We didn't make it trick-or-treating but Price did dress up and help give out candy. He is feeling much better and hasn't had a fever since Tuesday but has a bit of an ear infection and his shots yesterday didn't help him to feel much better.
Price was 33.5 inches long and 30.08lbs. It amazes me how much he is growing!!

Anyway, here are some pics from last night. Enjoy!

My little pumkin!!

Friday we got the pleasure of keeping Mary Grace. She and Price had a great time and we invited some other friends to come and play, too.
We had supper club on Friday night and Daddy and Price stayed home since Price's bedtime is 8:00pm. Daddy did a good job giving him a bath and getting him ready for bed. (He said he even brushed his teeth, which is quite the chore!)
Saturday we went to Daniel's Birthday party at Harmon tree farm. It was a great experience. Price actually liked this hay ride.
Saturday night Price stayed with his Ome & Grandaddy and they took him to a Halloween party in Camden. The pictures look like he had a great time. They said he danced all night!
And on Sunday we had our Fall Festival at church. He loved the petting zoo and the bouncy thing!! And he danced to the music and even did a little of the hokey pokey!! :) Needless to say he was worn out at the end of the weekend.

He is going to be a lion for Halloween but he hates his costume so we just put his pumpkin sweatshirt on. Hopefully I'll get a picture of him tomorrow in his Lion costume. I hope we will be able to enjoy Halloween because yesterday Price woke up with an aweful cold and a high fever so we called his doctor and are keeping him in until his doctor's appt tomorrow. It's his 15 month checkup.
Today is actually his 15 month birthday! How time flies.......

Farmer Price

It's been a week since I last posted...

Price and I have been staying pretty busy so I haven't had as much time as I used to. Plus, Josh made the comment the other day that if I spent as much time on our house as I did on my blog then maybe his clothes would get washed!! HAHA!! (The nerve.....)

But he was right. Between Ebay, myspace and this blog I do spend way too much time on the computer! :) Nap time is my favorite time to relax and internet surf. (After I get my chores done, of course!)

Anyway, Sunday we went to visit Ome and Grandaddy on the farm and I got a few pics. He really loves being on the farm. My dad says that when he turns 5 he will get his own pony. Then Price will never want to come home! :) (I am pretty sure that is what they are aiming for!)

My step-sister (Aunt LaLa) is pregnant too. Price was born on her wedding day (so I couldn't make it to the wedding, of course....) and her due date is on my anniversary. Isn't that funny! So in April, Price will have someone else to play on the farm with.

Learning Everyday

Per Angie's request, I am posting a video of Price's signs since she isn't close enough to see him as much as I know she would like! This isn't a great video but it's as good as I could get by myself.
We just learned what a duck says and that is probably due to the fact that we sing "Old McDonald" at least 20 times a day! The only thing he has picked up so far is quack.......which is really more like "cock" but still.......a start!
Price can also do his "prayer hands" and when we pray he bows his head and closes his eyes. He just started doing that this week. I think it's soo sweet. He also adds an "Amen" at the end.
I would have gotten that on video but we wern't about to eat and I didn't want to confuse the poor fellow. He's confused enough as it is! :)
We also just learned the sign for "all done" but we haven't mastered that one yet.
And despite what the video shows, he really does know where his eyes and nose are but I guess he had already had enough by the time we got to it.
We are working on other body parts but he always points to something on his face no matter what body part I say.
He is also wanting a piggy back ride several times an hour!! Really!! If I am sitting down he climbs up beside me and puts his hands around my neck and grunts until I get up and walk him around the house. All that money on those toys and I'm his favorite one.....

Girls Trip

Every October my girlfriends from college get together and go on a girls trip. It's our way of spending time with each other and getting "girl time". We have been to New York, Chicago, Savannah and this year we were suppose to go to Nashville but because several people couldn't make it due to babies, weddings, reunions, etc....we decided to go to Charleston instead. Usually we have 15 girls but only 10 made it this year. (We missed those who didn't join us!)
We had a wonderful time eating, shopping and laughing. My stomach muscles are still hurting! :)
Thanks girls for all the fun times and the wonderful memories!!

A Day at the Fair

We took Price to the SC state fair yesterday afternoon and I wasn't sure how it was going to go but, turns out, he enjoyed every minute! We went as soon as they opened at 3pm yesterday and it was nice because it wasn't packed when we got there. (Although it was quite hot!) Price was too little to go on any rides but he loved the petting zoo and the FOOD! He also enjoyed walking around the fair looking at everything. I think he liked the chickens the best because they were loud and he kept trying to stick his hands in the cages!
While we were there we enjoyed some Fiske Fries, fried mushrooms, dippin dots, pizza and lemonade............and yes, Price ate every bite I fed him!! It wasn't the healthiest meal he's ever had but I bet it was definitly one of best!
We stayed there for over four hours and Price was worn out by the end of the day, and so were his parents! :)
