Skipping school already....

Today I watched Mary Grace for Kris & Betsy because she is getting over roseola and they didn't want her in daycare yet and I LOVE having her. Price woke up with the begginings of the croup and a slight fever so I kept him home from pre-school (I just couldn't take him by myself and have him crying when he didn't feel good....)and we played all day. It's so funny to see Price & Mary Grace interact. They played so good together all day. They even actually rolled the ball to each other several times and took turns playing with the toys. I was amazed at how well they did. I guess they are growing up. The are less baby-like and more toddler-like every day. I can't believe how fast time flies. It makes me sad to see Price growing so fast but right now he loves his mommy so I am going to enjoy it while I can. :)

Pre-School

Yesterday Price started Pre-school. As you can tell from his picture, he was not very happy when we dropped him off. It broke my heart to leave him there crying for us. He will be going on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am until 12noon at Trinity Baptist Church. I think it will be good for him to be around other children and learn sharing and manners. They also work on sign launguage, read them books and have outdoor playtime with everyone. I really think this is a great program but I can't help but feel a little guilty when I drop him off. Hopefully this will get easier with time. The teachers, Mrs. Heather & Mrs. Kristine, said that he was fine after the first 15 minutes. He even got in trouble for stealing other children's snacks. :) Hopefully both of us will be able to make it thru the year!!

Another Great Weekend

Well, we had another busy weekend but we enjoyed every minute. I love to be on the go and I think Price enjoys it as well. Josh, not so much......but he handles it well! :)

Friday we had supper club at Shyra & Todd's. Josh had to work so he wasn't there but we enjoy our supper clubs every month so much. We have a great network of church friends and it is so nice to know we can depend on each other for prayer, friendship and fellowship.

Saturday was Mary Grace's 1st birthday and we loved getting to share in her special day. Mary Grace is very close to us and we all love her. We are hoping for a Mitchell / Jackson wedding one day! :)

And Saturday Night Dave & Suzanne came to stay with us to go to Blair & Paige's shower at the clubhouse. It was an awesome shower and I had such a great time seeing everyone and catching up. My mom watched Price for us so we had a nice night out with adults!! :)

I had such a great time. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends.

Fun Zone

Mily & Price on the Fire Truck

Price bouncing

And on the Fire Truck again...

Crawling thru the tunnel

WOW!

This morning we were invited to go to the Fun Zone with Blair & Mily. Price had a great time and wore himself out. He loved the fire engine and everytime I pryed him off of it, he would end up right back on it. He would sit in the drivers seat, beep the horn and turn on the siren. He had such a blast. We will definitly visit there again. He also loved jumping in the blow up things but couldn't keep his balance to stand so he just bounced on his bottom. He was so funny!! :)

Welcome Home Ed

Today we had some special visitors come by our house and visit. Aunt Rhetta & Uncle Ed. Ed just came home from Iraq after 18 months. We missed him so very much. He sent Price an American Flag from Iraq for his birthday and it was so very special to recieve such a thoughtful gift from him. We have missed him greatly and we are so proud of him. He is our HERO!! Thanks Ed for all you have done for our country. And, Rhetta, we are proud of you for surviving without him. We love you both!! (I wish I had thought to take pictures.......I am such a slacker!)

Poor Sophie

This morning Price slept until 8:30am. (And so did I, YAY!) He starts 2 day a week preschool next week and it starts at 9am so I hope he doesn't make this a habit because I hate waking a sleeping baby! :) Once Price got up we went upstairs to play in his playroom. He got a ball pit for his birthday and he LOVES throwing balls out of it more then anything else. When he gets done we go around the room and put them all back in the ball pit. This morning he decided that he wanted to throw Sophie in the ball pit too. She was a little tramatized and kept away from Price the rest of the day. Sweet Sophie doesn't even know what she is in for....

What a week...

Well, as you probably know.......we did make it to the beach last Saturday despite Price's aweful rash. He looked worse on Saturday so I was really nervous once we got there but it got better and by the end of the week you could hardly tell he had even had a rash. We still arn't sure what it was but in my non-medical opinion, I think it may have been a reaction from his MMR shot he got on his 1st bday. I had no wi-fi at the beach and I thought I might go into internet withdrawl but I did okay. Price loved the beach and playing with his cousins, Taylor and Hunter. Almost all of Josh's family was there and so Price loved visiting with everyone. We all had a great time. We had no trouble getting him to sleep because at the end of the day he was so worn out he could hardly keep his eyes open. We cut out the bottle last week and moved to one nap a day this past week and he is doing so good. He has been such an easy baby.
Yesterday I went with my friends to the Rascal Flatts concert in Charlotte. We had such a great time visiting and catching up. I love my "girl time"!! Thanks Suz for getting that together. I needed a vaca from my vaca!! :)
