Little Owen is 6 months old!!

Can you believe it??
Time is flying by and I am amazed my baby is already 6 whole months old.

Owen is doing so much now and his sweet little personality is showing. He is so laid back and doesn't get upset unless a) it's time to eat or b) his diaper is dirty! (And he does NOT like to have dirty pants on, no sir!)
He can sit up now and although he can't crawl yet, he can scoot himself wherever he wants to go.
He has 2 teeth now, in odd places. His bottom right I tooth and his bottom left middle tooth. He drools non-stop and puts everything in his mouth!
Owen loves his paci and can hold his own bottle already. (Look, it's survival of the fittest in this household!! :))
Owen also loves his big brother and often whines when Price is out of his site. He loves watching what Price is up to and laughs when Price talks to him.
Price also loves Owen and has been a great big bro!
Owen's favorite activites are sleeping, jumping in his jummpy (sometimes sleeping in his jummpy) eating his toes, playing in his excersaucer, riding in the car, bathtime and drooling.
Owen is also eating very well. So far he has had peas, sweet potatoes and applesauce and seems to like them all.
He sleeps very well, although we don't have a great daytime routine due to our busy scheudule. It's hard to keep him on a schedule when I have Price's schedule set. Poor, Poor 2nd child!
It has been a very easy 6 months and having 2 little ones isn't near as hard as I once feared. Being a mother is my greatest joy and Owen added so much to that!
Owen, what a sweet, sweet blessing you are!

Little Picasso

Price loves his new easel that Santa brought him.

He did a great job being careful not to make a mess.

The finished Product!

A MASTERPIECE, Indeed!

Birthday Parties

This past weekend we had 2 special birthday parties to go to.

Ella turned 1!! YAY Ella!! Her party was at her house and everything was perfect! Kellie even made her cake. Kudos to Kellie!! I was quite impressed!

The Birthday Girl about to blow out her candle!

Owen wondering why he can't get a piece of that cake!

Then we got to celebrate Bella Grace turning 2 by going to her party at My Gym! Price had a blast! He proved that he was part boy/part monkey by wanting to constantly swing on the bars.....and I was a little surprised and impressed that he was able to do it so well!

Happy, Happy New Year!!

Josh & I brought in the New Year with some of our closest friends. It was a great way to ring in 2009!!

I am sad to see such a wonderful year come to an end, but I am looking forward to what 2009 blesses us with! I have made some resolutions to help keep me on track in the new year!

My New Years Resolutions for 2009 are:
· To be a Prayer Warrior and to read the Bible daily
· To enjoy my time with my boys and to play more, they’ll be grown before I know it!
· To be a better organizer and throw more things away w/o regret!
· To take on sewing as a new hobby! (and stick with it!)
· To save, save, save $$$$!! (Josh put that one on my list!)
· And, if it’s the Lords will, I would like to get pregnant again the end of 2009! My third and last! Then all my children will be about 2 years apart!! (Some of you think I’m crazy but I like the 2 year age difference!)

All my goals seem pretty reasonable so I am hoping that I will accomplish them all in the next 365 days!!
Good Luck to everyone else with resolutions for 2009!

A Very Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas! Santa was very good to everyone and we enjoyed celebrating Jesus' Birthday! In fact, Price enjoyed it so much he sang Happy Birthday to Jesus a couple hundred times! Sometimes he would argue with me and tell me that it wasn't Jesus' Birthday, it was "Pwice's Burfdway"! I guess him getting the presents was a little confusing...

What Santa left under the tree for the boys!

Owen taking it all in

Taylor and Price putting on a little show for us Christmas night!

Be Elfish

There are not a whole lot of boy clothes that I can't live without but I thought this little outfit was too precious not to purchase!!

The cute little bib says "Be Elfish"!! And look at those little elf booties.....
